Thirteen Months and Seven Months

Emma doesn't sit still for the poses anymore but here with her bottle we can get a snap at 13 months. She now has her four canines for a total of 16 teeth!! She walks across a room before taking a break and has a few words: Olive (uhh), dog (doh), more (mo + the sign for more), thank you, bye bye, mama, emma, dada, and ruff ruff (that is what olive says).

As for mom's belly, this shot is for all those who kindly say "you're tiny for twins" - Auntie Zeddy says the belly doesn't look that big when I am dressed and standing up (and sucking my stomach in and wearing black).

Whole New World

Last week, I went to pick up Emma from school and found her sitting like this, alone & unsupported, and playing with a toy. The girl is all grown up! Tooth number 5 came last week & the teachers at school told me it was time for e.g. to eat with the other kids. She is loving bananas, pears, applesauce, carrots and sweet potatoes. She rolled over twice at school, is really good at grabbing things and is doing lots of giggling and laughing.
