An unlikely combination to be sure, green beans and raspberries were the order of the day. While not captured on film, Miss Emma was quite pleased to learn you can eat and blow raspberries at the same time. Word count is at two: hi (huh) and bye bye (ba ba as mom went out the door on March 24). She says ma-ma quite a bit but I am pretty sure it is indiscriminately (as the child development people say). We had a very busy weekend but none of it was captured on film.

Emma weighed in at 22lb 3 oz on Friday - just a few days shy of seven months. I wasn't sure where the pounds came from, now I know - it's the beer! Here is Emma sipping on Ted's glass while Mike and Sue are off skiing. Apparently, e.g. loved the swans at the Mill Pond but was not so big on avocados. A great day for everyone.

Last week, I went to pick up Emma from school and found her sitting like this, alone & unsupported, and playing with a toy. The girl is all grown up! Tooth number 5 came last week & the teachers at school told me it was time for e.g. to eat with the other kids. She is loving bananas, pears, applesauce, carrots and sweet potatoes. She rolled over twice at school, is really good at grabbing things and is doing lots of giggling and laughing.
