New Hobbies

There is a lot of excitement as the kids try some new and old things. William is starting hockey lessons. Emma did some parks and rec karate today that she says she likes more than ballet!

And Lizzie is starting violin (at her request, not mine) and today she got fitted for the tiniest violin

And just so there is no question later, here is the record of her natural ability as lessons start tomorrow. The song "Est-ce que, je peux aller aux toilettes" is her teachers invention, as a way to teach basic phrases in French.

Fall in the Country

We spent the day in the country with Mike reliving his glory days back at his rink. Notice Ms. CNE, a former girlfriend. Notice the gleam in his eye by the home team's bench. The kids took in the rides, then the demolishion derby and finally the country market.

Mystery Hill

Our friends Linda and Seb built a beautiful house for their friends and family to enjoy (well, maybe not just for us but it sure felt like it). We had a good three days there in August.
